Masjid As-Salaam of Nashville, Tennessee is a non-profit, non-political, religious and educational institute located at the heart of Murfreesboro Pike. We have a vast, diverse community of people from all over the world including: Somalia, Kurdistan, Yemen, India, Chechnya, Egypt, Ethiopia & many more including America. Masjid As-Salaam’s purpose is to give the community a place to worship their Lord & learn what Islam is really all about in a world that has tainted the name of Islam making the religion seem like something it is not. Teachings in this masjid come from CORRECT understanding of Qur’an & Authentic narrations of our last & final Prophet Muhammad, may the peace & blessings of Allah be upon him, & also the CORRECT understanding of those narrations from the pious predecessors & the 4 rightly guided caliphs.
Abu Dawood narrated from al-‘Irbaad ibn Saariyah that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:
“Whoever among you lives after I am gone will see great differences. I urge you to adhere to my Sunnah (way of life) and the way of the Rightly-Guided caliphs. Adhere to it and cling firmly to it. And beware of newly-innovated matters, for every newly-innovated matter is a bid’ah, and every bid’ah is a going-astray.”
